Positions & Salaries
Player positions and salaries are determined by Yahoo. For players that are listed at more than one position ('tweeners' such as GF, FC), by the end of the pre-season redraft, the owner must choose one position for any 'tweener' player on his team. That player is assigned that single position for the duration of the year, regardless of drops, trades, etc. Once a position is selected, it cannot be changed during the course of the year. Similarly, an owner drafting any free-agent 'tweener' must pick one position for that player, and that player will be assigned that position for the duration of the year.

Any player not listed on that site costs $750. Player positions cannot change during the course of the year.

Teams Caps
The salary cap is $48,000. There is no max player cap. Each team must be under the salary cap by the end of each round of a redraft. Salary Cap adjustments for each year will be made by applying the difference of the average of all CDM player salaries from the current year to the previous year. The final cap will be rounded to the nearest $500.

Scoring
Eleven players’ stats will count from each team. The scoring position requirements are 2 Centers, 4 Forwards, 4 Guards, and 1 of your choice.
Scoring is based on your teams ranking in six statistical categories. The formula is: the sum of, the inverse ranking in each statistical category, multiplied by the category point value. Category point values :

Points 4
Rebounds 3
Assists 3
Steals 2
Blocks 2
3 ptrs made 1
These examples are based on a ten team league:
The first place team in steals is 10x2=20 points
The last place team in steals is 1x2= 2 points
The second place team in rebounds is 9x3=27 points

Drafts & Redrafts
Pre-season redrafts occur as close to the beginning of the season as possible. A redraft is held at the end of each month, and the end of the season. These are targeted to occur as close to the 1st of each month as possible. If the Commissioner is unable to reach you during the time of the redraft, he may skip your pick.

Redrafts always occur in the reverse order of the season standings. Therefore, the last place team picks first, and the first place team picks first.  In the event of a tie in the Year to Date standings, the last month standings acts as a tiebreaker. This order repeats itself until all players are finished making picks. There is no limit to the number of picks that can be made in each redraft.

Trades
Trades must be made by the 15th of each month in order for the traded players to count for their new teams in that month. Trades done after the redraft is complete must still allow both teams to remain under the salary and player cap.

"No Tank" Rule
In order to maintain the spirit of competition, owners are not allowed to "tank it" at any point in the season in order to lower their score and get a higher redraft pick. There is no objective measure in place to determine this, but if the Commissioner suspects that an owner is "tanking it", he can warn the owner first, and then if necessary have the computer's picks be used. If necessary, the Commissioner can take control of the owner's team temporarily or permanently.
